Today consumers are demanding that health care be delivered to them at their convenience.  There is an array of technology to help you stay healthy, receive access to care during hospitalization, and re-hab back to good health.  Yet despite all the telecommunications, live video and gadgets that enable health care "over-the-wire", providers have been lagging in meeting consumer demands.  This talk will explore key innovations in Telehealth and the pace of their adoption, and how technologists can be best positioned to make an impact on patient care through Telehealth.
